Ford Focus ST500: the lowdown
Ford is a past master of doing limited editions, and there have been any number of Fiesta, Escort and Mondeo specials over the years. Now it's the turn of the soon-to-be-refreshed Focus hatchback - and specifically the ST hot hatch. Just 500 ST500 models will be made, presumably to shift the outgoing model before the new one arrives this winter.

I think if we tried really hard we could be doing at least one story a day on the saga that is the sale of Saab by GM. There’s no point re-hashing the history – if you read here regularly you’ll have had your fill of the story that’s more like a Soap Opera than a business deal, but if you want all the back stories just look under Saab. But now – at the 11th hour – we have two new bits to add to the story.
MINI Cooper Rauno Aaltonen Edition
MINI has produced yet another special edition, this time as a tribute to Finnish Rally ace Rauno Aaltonen. Available as MINI Cooper and Cooper S. It doesn’t seem right if we don’t get at least one new special edition MINI a month to report on, and with this being the last day of March we wondered if MINI’s PR had gone on holiday.
